About the Conference
After much awaited two years, IFA India will be organizing two-day International Tax Conference
titled “Emerging International Taxation Landscape post the Pandemic 2022” on April 29 & 30,2022. The conference will be held in New Delhi at the ‘Crystal Ball Room’, Hotel ‘The Lalit’. With global economies recovering from the aftermath of Covid-19, most Governments are taking fiscal measures to ignite growth. E-commerce and Digital economy have become more relevant with growth in volumes and surge in Indian Unicorns. For the International-tax fraternity, there is a lot to be debated, e.g. reforms in the international-tax laws in terms of interaction between the recent Pillar Two Global Minimum Tax Rules from OECD and Tax Treaties; unilateral Digital Service Tax (“DST”); implementation of MLI; position of the International-tax community and Governments on tax concessions / relaxations to alleviate the impact of the pandemic. Recent developments in domestic laws and transfer pricing arenas are of significance to foreign and domestic investors with cross-border transactions. This conference is designed to give participants an in-depth discussion on emerging – cross-border taxation issues. A galaxy of eminent speakers from India and abroad will address a host of topics surrounding the theme. The Conference provides an excellent opportunity for exchange of views and knowledge sharing in the area of tax policy and dissemination of information on tax jurisprudence.
